Isabella red - grapevine
An old American variety in different varieties (red and blue) that is now grown worldwide. This is the red Isabella. Due to its absolute resistance to fungus, Isabella is also grown in tropical areas for table grapes and wine production. The large, compact grapes with large, fleshy berries are light red when ripe, later turning dark red. Because of its Ticino aroma (herbal tone), Isabella is also known as Uva fragola (strawberry grape).
