Product information "Timur - table grape"

Table grape - Timur

The Timur grape variety is a very good table grape and originates from Russia. It is a cross between the grape varieties Frumoasa alba x Vostorg. The oval, pointed, large, yellow, crisp and thin-skinned berries have a fine fruity muscat aroma. The fruits are not seedless.

The very good grape variety Timur thrives and ripens even in less favorable and cooler climates. It is very little spread in Germany so far - a rarity and a joy for every table vine lover!

The table grapevine has a very good vitality, a medium strong growth, has a very good frost hardiness up to -25°C and very gurte fungus resistance.

The fully ripe grapes of the very early variety can be harvested from mid-August, depending on sunshine and location. Timur convinces with large grapes and a very high yield. Due to its good storability, the shelf life of the ripe fruit is prolonged after harvest.

The delivery of the vines (one-year grafting) is made in a 10 cm pot. The plant already has a height of 80 cm at delivery.

The table grape can be planted in normal garden soil. It prefers a sunny location. As with all climbing plants, a suitable climbing frame or trellis is necessary for the grapevine.

Avoid waterlogging if possible!
